Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use an image as a watermark?

Currently text watermarks are supported. Image/logo watermark support is planned for a future update.

What is the Tile mode?

Tile mode repeats the watermark across the entire image at a custom angle — ideal for proof images that shouldn't be cropped.

Does adding a watermark change image quality?

Output is always PNG, so there is no additional JPEG re-compression. Quality is preserved.

Can the watermark be removed?

A tiled watermark at 30–50 % opacity is very difficult to remove. For highest protection, use a dense tile pattern.
