By accessing or using VisualDocs ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including visitors, registered users, and paying subscribers. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

VisualDocs is an online platform that provides image and PDF processing tools, including but not limited to:

*Image compression, resizing, cropping, and conversion

*PDF merging, splitting, compression, and conversion

*AI-powered tools such as background removal, image upscaling, and OCR

*File management features for registered users

Some features are available free of charge, while others require a paid subscription. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

**Registration:** To access certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information.

**Account Security:** You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

**Account Termination:** We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or are inactive for extended periods.

**Age Requirement:** You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. Users under 18 must have parental consent.

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

*Upload, process, or distribute illegal, harmful, or offensive content

*Infringe upon intellectual property rights of third parties

*Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts

*Use automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools without written permission

*Circumvent any rate limits, access restrictions, or subscription limitations

*Upload malware, viruses, or any malicious code

*Engage in activities that harm, disrupt, or overload our infrastructure

Violation of this policy may result in immediate account termination without refund.

**Your Content:** You retain full ownership of the files you upload. By using the Service, you grant VisualDocs a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process your files solely to provide the requested service.

**Our Content:** All software, design, text, graphics, logos, and tools on VisualDocs are the exclusive property of VisualDocs Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

**Prohibited Actions:** You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on our platform, tools, or content without prior written consent.

**Subscription Plans:** VisualDocs offers Free, Pro, and Business subscription tiers. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually depending on your selection.

**Payment Processing:** All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment provider. We do not store your payment card details.

**Automatic Renewal:** Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.

**Cancellation:** You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.

**Refund Policy:** We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers on paid plans. After this period, payments are non-refundable.

**Temporary Storage:** Files you upload are processed in memory or temporary storage and are automatically deleted within 1 hour of processing.

**No Permanent Storage:** VisualDocs does not permanently store your files unless you explicitly save them to your account storage (if applicable under your plan).

**Processing Accuracy:** While we strive for accuracy in all tool outputs, we cannot guarantee 100% perfect results for all file types and conditions.

**Your Responsibility:** You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your original files. VisualDocs is not liable for any data loss arising from use of the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

*VisualDocs provides the Service "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind

*We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

*Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the past 12 months

*We are not responsible for data loss, corruption, or delays caused by factors beyond our control

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or limitation of liability, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

VisualDocs may integrate with or link to third-party services, including payment processors, analytics providers, and cloud infrastructure. These third parties have their own terms of service and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party services. Your use of third-party integrations is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms.

**Governing Law:** These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

**Informal Resolution:** Before filing any formal dispute, you agree to attempt to resolve the issue informally by contacting us at legal@VisualDocs.app.

**Arbitration:** If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Paris, France, under French commercial arbitration rules.

**Class Action Waiver:** You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits against VisualDocs.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

*Send a notification email to all registered users

*Display a prominent notice on the website for at least 30 days

*Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service.
