Frequently Asked Questions
What is the maximum resize factor?
There is no hard cap, but upscaling beyond 4× introduces visible pixelation. Use the Upscale Image tool for AI-assisted enlargement.
Will resizing reduce image quality?
Downscaling is always clean. Upscaling uses bicubic interpolation — it is smooth but not as sharp as the original.
Can I resize to an exact file size?
Not directly. Use the Compress Image tool after resizing to hit a target file size.
Does the aspect ratio lock work with presets?
Presets override the ratio lock since platforms require exact dimensions. The lock only applies in Dimensions and Percentage modes.
